Our teachers

Not a tutor directory.
A curated team of qualified teachers.

Every BrightBerry teacher holds QTS, has real classroom experience, and passes our gold-standard vetting — interviews, references, an observed teaching session and a dated DBS check. Then every lesson they teach is monitored.

Our teaching philosophy

Confidence Comes First

Measurable progress starts with belief. Before we tackle grades or exam techniques, we focus on rebuilding confidence, because when your teen believes they can succeed, they will.

That's why every tutor is carefully vetted, experienced in secondary education, and selected for their ability to support anxious, overwhelmed, or under-confident learners.

How we teach

1

Mirror & Master - I Do, You Do

We model the process clearly, then students mirror what they've seen with expert guidance. This "I do, you do" approach builds confidence through supported practice. Step-by-step, they move from watching… to doing… to mastering.

2

Layered Learning - Step-by-Step Mastery

We break every concept into small, manageable chunks. We layer the learning so that nothing feels overwhelming and every step builds towards success. Students gain deep understanding, not surface-level tricks.

3

Flip the Script - Tell It Back to Me

Before we move on, we make sure students really get it (and can explain it). When they can verbalise the method, they can apply the method. This step turns passive learning into active thinking.
