How it works

Three steps. We handle everything.

From first hello to visible progress. Here's exactly what happens, in order, with nothing to pay until you've agreed your plan with us.

1

Tell us about your child

A free 15-minute call — tell us about their goals, worries, how they learn. This becomes your child's personal progression plan.

2

We hand-pick the right tutors

Qualified teachers matched to their personality, not just the subject, and we tell you why. Prefer to skip the call? You can register directly and we'll run a short match check before lessons start.

3

A free Getting to Know You session

It's so important that your child meets and feels comfortable with their tutor before lessons begin, so in this 20-minute session they will have time to ask questions and leave feeling excited to start lessons. Your tutor will also outline the learning plan for the first lesson.

Two ways to learn

One-to-one, or a small group?

Both are taught by the same qualified UK teachers, both are monitored, and both come with a progress note after every lesson. The difference is what your child needs right now — and you don't have to decide alone. We'll talk it through on your free call.

One-to-one tutoring

£50–£75 per lesson

Best when your child needs the plan built entirely around them — specific gaps, exam technique, or confidence that has taken a knock.

  • Full attention of the teacher for the whole lesson
  • A personal progression plan from your Getting to Know You session
  • Lesson pace set entirely by your child
  • Optional homework, set and reviewed each week

Small group lessons

£25–£35 per lesson, per student

Best when your child learns well alongside others — and benefits from the motivation of shared progress at a lower cost per lesson.

  • Small groups, six students on average, grouped by year and ability
  • Weekly homework that consolidates each session
  • A dedicated online learning space to upload work, get feedback and ask questions between lessons
  • Targeted Support Sessions — every sixth lesson is shaped by what the group asks for

Why small groups work: children build confidence by contributing in a supportive setting, see different approaches to the same problem, and find reassurance that they are not the only one finding something hard. Every group is designed and led by a qualified teacher — never a generic class.

What happens after you enrol

Weekly rhythm

Lessons run online at your agreed times, with reminders before each one. Reschedule with 48 hours' notice (up to twice a month); lessons cancelled later than that are forfeited — the same fair rules for everyone.

The 12-week promise

Progress is monitored each week and you will receive a review at week 6. Real progress by week 12 - or we refund the lessons paid for. The terms are one page, in plain English.
